Raptors prey on FCC, 89-78

ROCKVILLE, MD – The Frederick Community College men’s basketball team fell behind early Saturday afternoon on the road at Montgomery College and failed to recover, losing 89-78. In the first twenty minutes of action, the Raptors built a 22 point lead (51-29) heading into intermission and never looked back. It is the fifth straight Region XX DII loss for FCC who currently finds themselves in ninth place in the division.

The trio of Juwan BurnettChristian Knox and CJ Williams combined for a total of 45 points in the loss. Williams had a team-high 16 points to go along with nine assists. Domantas Sakickas was a force in the middle with a game-high 11 rebounds for the Cougars.

Agyei Edwards paced the Raptors with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-15 field goals.
