D.C. United falls to Colorado Rapids in season opener (Photos)
WASHINGTON – D.C. United fell to the Colorado Rapids 2-1 in a competitive contest at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 29, 2020 in the season opener. The Rapids found the net twice by goals from Kei Kamara (67′) and Jonathan Lewis (90+2) to break the tie for the win.
United’s Russell Canouse scored the first goal of the match at the 60-minute mark, but his team could only muster 12 shots the whole game with only four finding the target. D.C.
