COLLEGE PARK – The University of Maryland women’s lacrosse team scored a key 16-7 vicotry over Navy on March, 4, 2020. Nine different Terps scored goals led by three apiece from Brindi Griffin, Kali Hartshorn and Hannah Warther.
“That was a good game for us,” said Maryland head coach Cathy Reese. “We were excited to get back out and at it again. We’ve seen moments of us playing really well this season and then moments where we struggle. I think we had a really good first half and we got a little sloppy in the second half. We did a lot better job of clearing the ball and not turning it over. The positives result in more possessions but we still have to be more consistent than we were tonight.”
