2021 NWSL Soccer: NJ/NY Gotham FC vs Washington Spirit
A 10-player Washington Spirit conceded a late goal as they fall 3-2 against NJ/NY Gotham FC Sunday night in Leesburg, Virginia.
Trinity Rodman and Ashley Sanchez scored both of Washington’s goals before Midge Purce scored the game-winner for Gotham in the 76th minute.
Next Sunday, Washington heads on the road to face Racing Louisville FC.
