PHOTOS: Maryland shuts out No. 18 Charlotte

The Maryland men’s soccer team opened the season with a 1-0 shutout win over No. 18 Charlotte at Ludwig Field Thursday night.

Freshman Caden Stafford scored the game’s only goal in the 39th minute.

The Terrapins will host two more home games before taking on rivals Virginia in Washington, D.C. on Labor Day.
