Maryland women rally past Ohio State for 8th straight win

No. 13 Maryland stayed hot, rallying late to beat No. 18 Ohio State, 77-72, to claim their eighth consecutive victory Thursday night. 

Angel Reese earned her 15th double-double of the season with 21 points and 15 rebounds. The Terps (20-6, 12-3 Big Ten) moved into second place with an .800 win percentage, behind Indiana, which is 10-2 with an .833 win percentage.

The eight-game win streak is Maryland’s longest since winning 15 straight late in the 2020-21 season.

Taylor Mikesell scored 29 points in her return to College Park for the Buckeyes (19-5, 11-4). She was 12 of 15 from the floor and 5 of 7 from 3-point range.
