On Homecoming weekend, the University of Maryland football team bounced back from three consecutive losses to defeat a competitive Indiana 38-35 Saturday
Quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa threw for three touchdowns while the defense forced four turnovers to lift the Terrapins to the 30-24 victory Saturday in front of 43,811 at Maryland Stadium in College Park.
The momentum from last week’s victory carried over in a colossal fashion as the Terrapins knocked out their regional rivals for the first time since 2015 with a 35-19 victory.
Northwestern smothered the Terrapins football team as Maryland open their season with a 43-3 road loss Saturday.
